Position Overview
The Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum continuum. Responsibilities include managing laboring patients, assisting with scheduled and emergent procedures, and supporting safe maternal and neonatal outcomes in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities

Care for laboring and high-risk obstetric patients

Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections

Support scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, triage evaluations)

Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers
-
Provide pre-operative and postpartum care

Perform fetal monitoring and interpret tracings

Document using Cerner and Fetalink systems

Respond to obstetric emergencies
Requirements

Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience

Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Strong fetal monitoring and critical care skills

Experience with triage, pre-op, delivery, and postpartum workflows

Must live 50 miles from facility (travel requirement)
