Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Eagle Pass, TX 78852
Assignment Dates: 13 weeks 
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (hours may vary based on coverage needs)
Requirement: Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Job Summary

As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, the Occupational Therapist (OT) delivers high-quality occupational therapy services through comprehensive patient evaluations, treatment planning, and intervention. The OT performs detailed clinical assessments based on physician referrals and develops individualized, age-appropriate plans of care. Accurate and timely documentation, along with flexibility to adapt to changing assignments, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Perform detailed clinical assessments based on patient needs

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions

• Accurately document patient care and progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Adapt effectively to evolving assignments and patient caseloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist license

• Minimum of 2 years of OT experience

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program
