Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring for patients transitioning from ICU, including interpretation of telemetry strips and prompt intervention for dysrhythmias.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions requiring intermediate-level monitoring.

Administer IV medications, titratable drips (e.g., cardiac drips), blood products, and manage central lines, chest tubes, and other advanced medical devices.

Perform frequent patient assessments, recognize early signs of clinical deterioration, and initiate rapid response or emergency interventions as needed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, post-discharge care, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent readmission.
