Description
Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30)
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements
Core Responsibilities
-
Perform CT imaging procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care and trauma settings
-
Prepare and administer contrast media safely and monitor patient response
-
Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
-
Start peripheral IVs, perform venipuncture, and support direct patient care
-
Conduct image post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI analysis
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnostics and treatment
-
Participate in standby on-call rotation as assigned
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of CT experience with recent direct patient care
-
Experience in Level III trauma facility or higher (required)
-
Acute care hospital experience (required)
-
Travel experience required
-
Experience with Epic charting system (required)
-
Experience operating Client CT scanners (required)

Certifications:
-
ARRT (CT)
-
BLS
-
Preferred Qualifications
-
Oregon State OBMI license (must be obtained prior to start)

Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
-
Experience in ICU, emergency department, or outpatient imaging settings
-
Familiarity with PACS systems
