Description

Title: Travel RN – Case Manager
Location: Santa Barbara, CA 93105
Start Date: 04/20/2026
Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Weekends: Off
Float: Required (must be willing to float when needed)

Job Summary

The RN Case Manager is responsible for utilization management, quality assurance, care coordination, discharge planning, and post-acute authorization in an acute care setting. The role focuses on optimizing patient outcomes, cost-effective care, and smooth transitions of care.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years direct acute care RN experience
Travel experience required
Must have active RN Case Management (RNCM) experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Inpatient care coordination
- Discharge planning
- Post-acute payer authorization
- Utilization review

Requirements

Certification: BLS
Charting: Epic (required)

Education

Minimum: ADN
Preferred: BSN
Preferred: Case Management Certification
