Title: Travel RN – Case Manager / Utilization Management
Location: Santa Barbara, CA 93105
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5×8-Hour Day Shift
Shift Timing: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Float: Required when needed
Job Summary
The RN Case Manager is responsible for utilization management, quality assurance, discharge planning, care coordination, and post-acute payer authorization in an acute care setting. This role focuses on improving patient outcomes, cost-effective care delivery, and ensuring smooth transitions of care.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Must have active RN Case Management experience
- Hands-on experience with inpatient care coordination
- Discharge planning
- Post-acute clinical payer authorization
- Utilization review
- No first-time travelers
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- BLS Certification
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum ADN required
- BSN preferred
- Case Management Certification preferred
