Registered Nurse – Urology
Facility: Mount Sinai Health System
Location: New York, NY
Start Date: 04/27/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 5 Days/Week
Charting System: Epic
Compensation for 40 hours: $2,579.00 Per Week
Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse – Urology is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a urology setting, utilizing clinical expertise and critical thinking to assess, plan, and implement patient-centered care. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job duties:
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with urological conditions, identifying changes in health status and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Assist with urological procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Identify and escalate patient safety concerns and clinical issues promptly.
- Prioritize patient care activities effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements:
Licensure: NYS RN License
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Urology experience
Certification: BLS
Education: BSN required
