Job Title: Travel RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Location: Greensburg, PA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PCU/Stepdown RN to provide care for medically complex patients in a telemetry-driven environment. The unit primarily manages cardiac and respiratory conditions along with med-surg overflow cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience
• Active RN License (PA or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• Strong telemetry and cardiac care experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients with conditions like CHF, Afib, COPD, pneumonia
• Provide cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, and PICC lines
• Support respiratory therapies (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)
• Administer medications and manage cardiac/vasoactive drips (non-titration)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Float as needed within scope

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:6–7
• Adult & geriatric population
• 32-bed unit
• Mix of PCU Med-Surg overflow

Schedule & Additional Info:

• 3x12 night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
