Description

Provide direct nursing care to stepdown/PCU patients, especially post-cardiovascular surgery cases
Monitor patients with moderate to high acuity, including cardiac conditions and post-op recovery
Perform continuous cardiac monitoring (ECG rhythm recognition) and respond to abnormalities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
Manage and monitor hemodynamic status and vital signs closely
Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration or emergencies quickly
Assist with or perform specialized procedures as required in the unit
