Facility: UMMS – Baltimore Campus
Location: 1708 W Rogers Ave, Baltimore, MD 21209
Start Date: 06/03/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating (Day 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM / Night 07:30 PM – 07:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-Hour
Note: Neonates/Infants/Pediatrics | 2 years NICU experience required (Hard Stop) | Trach/Vent experience required | 1:3–4 ratio
Position Overview:
The Pediatric RN provides specialized care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with complex medical conditions. The RN will manage high-acuity cases, including respiratory support and feeding challenges, while ensuring safe, family-centered care.
Job Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, assessments, and documentation
- Manage tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- Administer medications, IV therapy, TPN, and blood products
- Perform central/peripheral line care and phlebotomy
- Support feeding methods (bottle, breast, NG/gavage)
- Monitor and manage conditions like prematurity, NAS, and cardiac defects
- Assist with procedures and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
Licensure: Active MD RN License
Experience:
- 2 years NICU experience required (Non-negotiable)
- Pediatric acute care experience required
- BLS – Required
- CPI – Preferred

Ratio: 1:3–4
Beds: 50 | Census: 32

Prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS
