Description
🩺 Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
📍 Lubbock 79410
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/01/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks required
• No on-call required
• No floating required
• Block scheduling optional
🏥 Unit Details:
• Emergency Department
• Level II Trauma Center
• Stroke Certified Facility
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
📋 Requirements:
• Active Texas or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC Certifications ( required )
• Minimum 2 years recent ER experience
⭐ Preferred:
• Strong trauma and stroke experience
• Experience in high-acuity emergency settings
🩺 Responsibilities:
• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Provide rapid response and critical care interventions
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Administer medications including IV vasopressors
• Manage respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients)
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Central line care and neurological assessments (CVA/stroke care)
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency team
• Maintain accurate documentation
