Description
CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Detroit, MI 48202
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Guaranteed Hours: Based on facility requirements
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures and support diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting. Candidates should be comfortable working night shifts and handling a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures and general diagnostic radiology exams
- Prepare and position patients for examinations
- Administer IV contrast media and monitor patient reactions
- Operate CT equipment and ensure high-quality imaging
- Assist Radiologists with sterile diagnostic procedures
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Upload and review images in PACS
- Complete documentation in RIS and medical records
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and procedure rooms
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- ARRT Certification required
- Advanced CT Certification (ARRT CT) or registry eligible required
- BLS Certification required
- Previous general radiography experience required
- Ability to operate CT equipment required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Contract Details:
- 13-week travel contract
- Night shift schedule
- Hospital-based assignment
