Position: Registered Nurse - Case Manager
Facility: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center
Location: 500 Upper Chesapeake Dr Bel Air, MD 21014
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Compensation Package:
Hourly Breakdown:
• Total Hourly Rate: $57.36/hr
• Taxable (W-2): $17.00/hr
• Non-Taxable Stipend: $40.36/hr
• OT Rate (W-2): $25.50/hr

Weekly Breakdown:
• Weekly Gross: $2,294.40
• Taxable (W-2): $680.00/week
• Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,614.40/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description:
Case Manager RN – Days | 40 Hours | No Weekends

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with inpatient hospital/acute care experience
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing guardianships, complex medical cases, placements, and social situations to ensure safe and appropriate patient discharges.

Contract Details:
• Start Date: 06/01/2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 5x8 Days, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 08:00/08:30 AM – 04:00/04:30 PM (based on unit needs)

Required Certifications/Licensure:
• Active Maryland RN License required
• BLS preferred

Unit Details:
• Average Daily Census: 15 cases/day
• Inpatient case management coordinating medical home care, placements, and wrap-around social services for safe discharge planning

Additional Information:
• Attire: Business Casual
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required between Bel Air and Aberdeen facilities as needed (within a 10-mile radius)
