Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Washington, DC. This position is for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit and requires candidates to provide high-quality occupational therapy services as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Bachelor's Degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited Occupational Therapy program required
• Master's Degree highly preferred
• Active DC Occupational Therapy License required
• BLS certification required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations based on physician referrals
• Develop and implement individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans
• Provide quality therapy services to patients in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Adapt efficiently to changing assignments and patient care needs
