Description

Title: RN Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Location: 7601 Osler Dr, Towson, MD 21204-7700
Facility: University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Start Date: 06/15/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Note: L&D RN | 1:1–1:2 ratio | First-time travelers accepted | High-risk delivery experience preferred

Description:

L&D RN – Nights – 36H; Every Other Weekend
2 years experience required; strong candidates with under 2 years may be considered
First-time travelers accepted
Travel experience required

Requirements:

Active RN License (MD or Compact State)
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM/C-EFM
EPIC experience required
Community hospital experience required

Unit Details:

Ratio: 1:1–1:2
Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents & Adults
Daily Census: Approx. 6 patients
Common Diagnoses: High-risk deliveries, preeclampsia, gestational HTN, diabetes, preterm labor, placental abnormalities
Special Procedures: D&C, Cerclage, Cooks catheter placement for induction
Skills Required: C-section circulation/recovery, fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, epidural management, high-risk labor care

Additional Information:

Every other weekend required
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating within specialty required
On-call may be required based on census
