Description

Position: Operating Room RN (OR RN)
Location: Aiken, SC (Aiken Regional Medical Center)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (06/15/2026 – 09/12/2026)
Shift: Days, 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hrs/week)

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Experience in multiple OR specialties required
Experience in both circulating and/or scrubbing roles
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical workflows

Education

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BSN – Highly preferred

Certifications & Licensure

Active South Carolina RN License
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Requirements

Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
On-call: 1 day per week 1 weekend per month
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Role Responsibilities

Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties for surgical procedures
Prepare operating room, instruments, and equipment
Ensure availability and functionality of surgical supplies and implants
Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic standards
Collaborate with surgical team to plan and deliver patient care
Act as liaison between patient, family, and surgical team
Monitor patient status throughout intraoperative care
