Description
🩺 Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Vascular Surgery Clinic)
📍 Syracuse 13215
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/12/2026 (Must start on a Friday)
Shift: Day – 5x8 (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No weekends required
• Outpatient clinic setting
🏥 Unit Details:
• Ambulatory – Vascular Surgery Clinic
• Fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
• Adult vascular surgery patient population
📋 Requirements:
• Active New York RN License
• BLS Certification ( required )
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience required
• Experience must be within the last 2 years
• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of similar or larger size/trauma centers
⭐ Preferred:
• Ambulatory care experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Triage experience
🩺 Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in vascular surgery clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments and triage
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate EPIC documentation
• Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans and procedures
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care team
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered outpatient care
