Unit Details

• Ambulatory OB-GYN Clinic

• Outpatient Women's Health Setting

• Float required as needed within skillset

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory nursing care to OB-GYN patients.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions and treatment responses.

• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as ordered.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, medications, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care with minimal supervision and orientation.

• Support patients in a fast-paced ambulatory clinical environment while maintaining professional standards of care.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN License.

• BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the past 2 years.

• OB-GYN experience required.

• Experience working in hospitals of similar or larger size preferred.

• Strong nursing assessment, communication, and patient care skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and successfully complete background screening and health clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience preferred.

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

• Previous travel nursing experience in large acute care hospitals or trauma centers preferred.

Additional Information

• Travelers must have recent experience in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity.

• Candidates must not have had professional license suspension or ongoing investigations.

• Drug screening, criminal background check, and pre-employment health clearance required.
