Description

Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry

Location: Unity Hospital, Rochester, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Shift: Days – 3x12s (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

Key Requirements

Experience

Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Telemetry RN experience
First-time travelers accepted
Travel experience not required
Experience with cardiac and stroke patients
Epic charting experience preferred

Certifications

BLS (required)
NIHSS (required/preferred by facility)

Mandatory Clinical Skills

Telemetry/Cardiac

Cardiac monitoring
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Rapid Response/Code Team activation

IV & Vascular Access

Peripheral IV insertion
Peripheral line care/management
Phlebotomy (mandatory competency)
Blood specimen collection

Respiratory

Oxygen administration
Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management

General Nursing

Isolation precautions/PPE
Computerized documentation
Adult and geriatric patient care
