🩺 LVN / LPN – Medical Surgical (5800 Unit)
📍 Rochester 14621
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/09/2026

Shift:
• Day – 4x12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Night – 4x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required within skillset
• EPIC charting experience required

🏥 Unit Details:

• Medical Surgical – 5800 Unit
• Complex care unit for medicine, ortho overflow, and long-term patients
• Patient Ratio: 1:5–6

📋 Requirements:

• Active New York State LPN License 
• BLS Certification required
• Acute care experience within the last 2 years

• Must be able to take own patient assignment with RN support

🩺 Required Clinical Skills:

• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Peripheral IV care and maintenance
• Phlebotomy and PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs

• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Oxygen administration and trach care/management

• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin protocols
• Pacemaker monitoring (Temp/Perm)
• Telemetry monitoring

• Rapid Response/Code Team support
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care/Wound Vac management

• Orthopedic trauma and Total Joint Replacement care
• Surgical drain management
