RN Oncology (Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program)
Facility: UC Davis Health
Location: UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, Sacramento, CA
Unit: Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program (Outpatient Oncology Clinic)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Shift: Days, 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
EMR: Epic (preferred)
Patient Population
- Leukemia
- Lymphoma
- Multiple Myeloma
- Stem Cell Transplant patients
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology RN experience
- Outpatient Oncology experience preferred
- BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) experience preferred
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Required Certification
- BLS
Preferred Certifications
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- BMTCN (Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse)
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification
Key Responsibilities
This is more of a Case Manager/Coordinator role in an outpatient transplant clinic:
- Coordinate new patient referrals
- Work with authorization department
- Schedule appointments across multiple specialties
- Respond to patient MyChart messages
- Manage Epic message pools
- Coordinate care for oncology and stem cell transplant patients
- Patient/family education and support
