Description

Title: Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT Tech)

📍 Location: Detroit, Michigan
🕒 Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Explain procedures and prepare patients for CT examinations
Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history when needed
Operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic scans
Administer IV contrast media, including use of power injectors
Monitor patients for contrast reactions and provide immediate care if necessary
Assist Radiologists with sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
Maintain radiation safety standards and apply ALARA principles
Ensure accurate image delivery and documentation within PACS and RIS systems
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain adequate supplies
Complete all required medical record and billing documentation
Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Must maintain required continuing medical education hours

Certifications & Licensure

BLS Certification required
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required
ARRT Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligible

Required Experience

Previous general radiography experience
Ability to operate CT equipment
ARRT CT Certification required
