Description
Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, prepare patients for imaging exams, maintain radiation safety standards, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Document patient information and completed exams
- Maintain radiology equipment and supplies
- Ensure quality imaging and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technician experience
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
- ARRT Certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
