Description
Travel RN – Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) | Syracuse, NY
📅 Start: July 10, 2026 | Duration: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
👥 Openings: 2
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric Emergency Department experience
- Majority of recent experience must be in a dedicated Pediatric ED
- Candidates with only combined Adult/Peds ED experience will not be considered
- Active New York RN License required at submission
- Experience in a hospital of similar size or higher acuity
- Strong triage skills with formal triage training required
- IV Therapy experience required
- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Floating to other units/campuses may be required
Certifications Required:
✅ BLS
✅ PALS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Pediatric trauma and emergency care experience
