Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Shift: 7x5 Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Duration: 14 Weeks
Total Hourly Pay Rate: $70
Weekly Gross: $2450
Start Date: 7/13/2026

Key Requirements

At least 1 year of recent MRI experience
Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License
Active ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification
Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Category: Acute Care – Allied

Schedule

Alternating weekends and holidays required
In-person interview required
Initial training for 2 weeks on a day schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC training

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care setting
Experience working with relevant MRI equipment
Knowledge of client-specific MRI equipment preferred

Education

Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Required Certifications & Licenses

Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License
Current MRI certification and registration through one of the following:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

Preferred Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
