Travel RN – Operating Room (OR) | Lubbock, TX

☀️ Shift: Days | 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
📆 Schedule: Weekend Block (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

Requirements:

✅ Active RN License (Compact License required at submission)
✅ Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
✅ Minimum 2 years of Surgery experience
✅ Previous Travel Experience Required
✅ Epic EMR Experience Required
✅ Trauma Level II Experience Required
✅ BLS Required

⭐ CNOR Preferred

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• General Surgery
• Trauma Cases
• Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci Xi & DV5)
• Open & Closed Fracture Repairs
• Arthroscopy & Joint Replacement Procedures
• Cervical & Lumbar Fusions
• Craniotomy & Spine Procedures
• Urology Procedures
• Bariatric Surgery

Preferred Experience:

• Vascular Surgery
• Cardiothoracic Procedures
• Hybrid OR Experience
• Organ Procurement & Kidney Transplant Cases
• Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
• ENT Procedures

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Circulate and assist in complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control standards
• Perform surgical counts, specimen handling, and documentation
• Administer blood and blood products as needed
• Operate and troubleshoot OR equipment and instrumentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams
• Support trauma, emergency, elective, robotic, and transplant procedures
• Ensure compliance with Universal Protocol and patient safety initiatives
