📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
đź“Ś Facility Location: 111 Hospital Drive, Utica, NY 13502
⏰ Shifts: Day 3x12-Hour (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Work 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM shifts for a 13-week assignment
• Assess, triage, monitor, and treat adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required, including Pediatric ED experience
• Previous travel nursing experience is required and must be documented on the resume
• Charge Nurse capability is highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- TNCC
• Must hold an active New York RN license with NURSYS verification
• Complete and submit a specialty Skills Checklist with the application
• Driver's license must match the address listed in submission documents
• RTO must be included at the time of submission
• Travelers must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (locals accepted at a local pay rate)
• Floating may be required based on facility needs
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Strong triage, critical thinking, emergency response, communication, and patient care skills required
