Job Title: Mammography Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 9-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammography and be proficient in patient positioning, image quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
Ensure all radiographic images are accurately labeled according to department SOPs.
Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner.
Complete all studies in IDX.
Accurately document and record required patient tracking information.
Work effectively and efficiently while maintaining quality patient care.

Requirements:

Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
Current ARRT certification.
Must maintain MQSA requirements.
Previous mammography experience required.
Biopsy and stereotactic (stereo) experience preferred.
