RN – Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Contract)
Location: 1111 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Weekends: No weekends
On-Call: Not required

Job Summary
Mount Sinai St. Luke's is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes throughout the patient care continuum.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in patient throughput, care coordination, and unit operations.
  • Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
  • Maintain professional standards and participate in continuing education and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Requirements
  • Active New York State RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
  • EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
