Registered Nurse – ICU

Facility: Bristol Regional Medical Center
Location: Bristol, TN 37620
Start Date: 08/02/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12 | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview:
Bristol Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to adult patients in the ICU while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Candidates must be comfortable floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) unit when required.
Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
Administer medications, blood products, IV sedation, cardiac drips, and vasoactive medications.
Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support equipment.
Perform arterial line, central line, and PICC line care.
Interpret cardiac rhythms and arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Provide care for stroke and neurological patients.
Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in nursing student education and clinical support.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Active RN License
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Epic charting experience preferred

PALS
