🩺 Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
📍 Canton, OH 44708
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 08/07/2026

Shift: Day – 4x10 Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

• On-call required
• On-call every other weekend (or every third weekend based on staffing)
• If not assigned weekend call, expect approximately 2 weekday on-call shifts per week
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday
• EPIC documentation system utilized

🏥 Unit Details:

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Acute Care Hospital Environment

📋 Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at submission
• Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Cath Lab experience prior to travel assignments required
• Experience with circulating and procedural documentation required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required
• EPIC experience required

⭐ Preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong invasive cardiovascular procedure experience

🩺 Required Skills:

• Cath Lab nursing experience
• Procedural circulating and documentation
• IV starts and vascular access management

• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Moderate (conscious) sedation monitoring
• Emergency response during cardiac procedures

• Patient assessment and post-procedure monitoring
• EPIC documentation proficiency

• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

• Maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Perform IV starts and manage vascular access

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with conscious sedation and emergency interventions as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Participate in the required on-call rotation

• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
