Description
Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care
Location: Syracuse, New York
Start Date: September 11, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent outpatient or oncology experience, infusion therapy skills, and strong acute care hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License at the time of submission (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RN experience in the specialty (no exceptions)
- Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center or equivalent-sized hospital preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- IV Therapy experience required
- Ability to interpret telemetry strips
- Willingness to float between campuses/units as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience
- Recent Outpatient/Ambulatory Care experience
- Oncology nursing experience
- Infusion experience
- Experience with Epic EMR
Submission Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- Copy of Social Security Card (required with submission)
- At least one supervisor reference
- Candidate must be available to complete required drug screening within 2 weeks prior to start date
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility must be submitted as local travelers
Facility Requirements
- Travelers must float to other units/campuses as needed.
- Maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
- No time off during facility blackout dates.
- Travelers are expected to work required holidays per contract.
