Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry | Kingman, AZ

Position: Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry
Unit: Med Surg 2S, 6013
Location: Kingman, AZ
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 3×12s (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Travel Experience: Not Required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience

• Telemetry experience required

• BLS required

• Must be comfortable with remote telemetry monitoring

• Meditech experience preferred, but not required

Required/Preferred Skills:

• IV therapy / Phlebotomy

• Peripheral IV care and management

• Starting and maintaining IVs

• Central line care/management

• Blood product administration

• Heparin protocols

• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

• Telemetry – unit and remote monitoring

• Rapid Response / Code Team experience

• Oxygen administration, nasal cannula & non-invasive airway management

• Isolation precautions/PPE

• Chest tubes and HFNC experience preferred

• PICC/Port management preferred

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:5–6

• Days: 1:6

• Nights: 1:6

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Float: Yes, as needed to other Med Surg units

• Scheduling: Self-scheduling

• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

• Orientation: 16 hours, non-billable

• Orientation occurs every Monday
