Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Trauma: Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
Equipment: Client
Patient Population: Outpatient, inpatient, and ER

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• ARRT – CT certification/advanced registry or registry-eligible
• BLS required
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must maintain required continuing medical education

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations for outpatient, inpatient, and ER patients.
• Review clinical information and determine appropriate imaging protocols.
• Operate CT equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer IV contrast using power injectors and monitor patients for reactions.
• Assist radiologists with complex sterile procedures, including biopsies.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Review images and resolve exceptions in PACS.
• Complete study documentation and indexing in RIS.
• Confirm clinical protocols with radiologists as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and support clinical/billing documentation.
• Prepare and maintain CT procedure rooms and supplies.
• Provide patient education and maintain excellent customer service.
