Description
Pharmacist – Inpatient
- Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient
- Unit: Pharmacist
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Facility Type: Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Location: 4002 24th St, Lubbock, TX 79410
- Shift: Nights, Night 4x10-Hour (20:00 - 06:30)
- Hours: 08:00 PM – 06:30 AM
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Transition: Approximately 30–60 days of nights, then transition to days (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM) on the same 7-on/7-off rotation
Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- License: Texas Pharmacist License required; license must be in hand at submission
- Certification: BLS, PharmD, RPh preferred
- Charting: Epic required
- Hospital Experience: Required
- Pediatric Experience: At least some pediatric exposure required
- Inpatient/Acute Care: Required
- IV Preparation/Compounding: Required
- Medication Systems: Pyxis
- Clinical Skills: IVPB, IV push medications, TPN, sterile technique, renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring
- Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents
