Requirements

• 2 years RN experience
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• BLS required
• Epic experience required
• Active RN license
• Fast-paced Ortho/Med-Surg experience
• Floating required
• Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)

Unit/Patient Population

32-bed unit serving adults and geriatrics, including total joint replacements, fractures, shoulder repairs, kyphoplasty, neck/back surgeries, medical-surgical and observation patients. Telemetry available; occasional ED/high-acuity patients.

Key Skills

IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC/central lines, blood products, telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation, wound vacs, oxygen therapy, feeding tubes, CBI, hemodialysis care, ostomy care, and surgical drains.

Vaccines: COVID-19 and Flu required; medical/religious exemptions only.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must be willing to work Charge RN shifts as needed
• Every other weekend required ( Saturday & Sunday)
• Must be willing to float as needed
• No call required

Patient Population:

• Adults through geriatrics
• Orthopedic and Med/Surg patients
• Total joint replacements
• Fracture repairs
• Kyphoplasties
• Other surgical and medical observation patients
• Telemetry monitoring available

Notes:

• 29-bed unit
• High-volume orthopedic patient population
• Physical therapy gym located on the unit
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
