Any additional unit information?
• This is a 4-bed Pediatric unit at LBH – Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland
• The unit averages approximately 1–2 patients and serves neonates, infants, pediatric and adolescent patients
• The RN will frequently be the only caregiver assigned to the Pediatric unit and must be comfortable working independently
• Support is available from the Emergency Department and Family Birthplace
• Common patient populations include respiratory illness, jaundice, overdose, social placement, failure to thrive, congenital medical conditions, dehydration/diarrhea and diabetes
• This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Pediatric RN who enjoys working independently while also maintaining adult Med-Surg skills

• Pediatric nursing experience is required
• Adult Med-Surg experience is required
• Please confirm that Traveler must be comfortable independently managing a small Pediatric unit
• Experience floating to Med-Surg, Telemetry or Family Birthplace is beneficial
• Candidate should be flexible and comfortable supporting other hospital units when Pediatric census is low...
