Description
Respiratory Therapist II – NICU/ PICU
Requirements:
2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience with pediatric experience.
Experience with airway management, mechanical ventilation, ventilator monitoring and weaning, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and respiratory treatments.
Experience with tracheostomy care, endotracheal intubation/extubation, airway suctioning, ABGs, and other respiratory procedures.
Ability to provide respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients. Experience with advanced procedures, patient transport, or ECMO is applicable based on assignment needs.
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current RRT certification through NBRC required.
At least one of the following certifications required based on practice area: ACLS, NRP, PALS, or CPFT.
On-call availability may be required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
