Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)
📍 Chilton Medical Center – Pompton Plains, NJ
📅 Start Date: 10/06/2026
📅 Contract End: 12/31/2026

Schedule:
• 40 hours/week
• 10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call rotation approximately 3x/month, including weekends
• 24-hour weekend call (Saturday or Sunday) approximately once every 6 weeks / 2x per contract
• 1 winter/summer holiday call requirement

Requirements:
• 3 years of RN experience – Required
• Operating Room experience – Required
• BLS certification – Required
• Active RN license – Required
• CNOR certification – Preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing – Preferred
• Strong patient assessment, clinical, documentation, and surgical patient care skills
• Experience with pre-op and post-op assessment and patient education
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia, emergency equipment, and patient safety protocols
• PAT (Pre-Admission Testing) experience is a plus

What You'll Do:
• Provide comprehensive pre-op and post-op nursing care
• Assess and monitor surgical patients throughout the perioperative process
• Support patient education and surgical preparation
• Ensure accurate documentation and safe patient care
• Work collaboratively with the perioperative team
• Assist with Pre-Admission Testing and evaluate orders based on the patient's condition and planned procedure
