Unit: Wynn Nursing Med Surg – 7th Floor / MS Stroke Stepdown

Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week
Local & Travel: Both accepted
Radius: 75 miles
EMR: Epic
Scrubs: Navy blue
Floating: Required
On-call: No

Requirements

2 years Med/Surg experience
Stroke Stepdown experience
Travel experience required
Current AHA BLS NIHSS
NIH certification required for this unit, but can be obtained before start
Active NY RN license
Nursys report showing active NY license all active RN licenses
Skills checklist matching specialty
Driver's license/address must match demographics
Updated resume documenting relevant experience and travel experience
RTO must be provided at submission

Unit Details

64 beds
Adult patients
Common diagnoses: stroke, AMS, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general Med/Surg, pneumonia and pulmonary issues
Equipment includes IV pumps, NG tubes and feeding tubes
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
