Description
MS/Tele RN – Night Shift
Schedule: 3×12s, Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays: Holiday rotation required
Ratio: 1:6
Patient Population: Primarily Medical-Surgical
Unit: MS/Tele — EKG competency required for all RNs
Requirements
- BLS required
- EPIC experience required
- Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding
- Must be willing to work Charge RN shifts as needed
- Float required as needed
- Travellers may be required to float across all Cone Health facilities based on staffing needs
Clinical Skills / Responsibilities
- EKG/telemetry monitoring
- Blood product administration
- Peripheral IV care and management
- Starting IVs
- Heparin and insulin management
- PCA management
- Nasal cannula oxygen
- Isolation precautions
- Use of Rapid Response Teams
