🏥 TRAVEL RN CONTRACT – OPERATING ROOM (OR) 🏥

📍 Location: Westwood, NJ
🏥 Facility: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center
💼 Position: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕐 Shift: Days | 4x10s
⏰ Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
📞 Call: Required
👩‍⚕️ Experience: Minimum 1 year of OR experience
🖥️ Charting: Epic
✈️ Travel Experience: Not required

Requirements

Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
Strong orthopedic experience required
Epic experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Clinical Experience & Skills

Candidates should have experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including:

Orthopedics: Total joint replacement, spinal fusion, arthroscopy, fracture reduction, ACL reconstruction, and carpal tunnel release
General Surgery: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, and laparoscopic procedures
Neurology/Spine: Cervical fusion, lumbar fusion, laminectomy, discectomy, and kyphoplasty
Robotics: Da Vinci systems, Mako, and robotic orthopedic procedures
Other specialties: Thoracic, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, bariatrics, and podiatry

Additional Details

6 operating rooms
Approximately 15–18 daily census
Patient population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Orientation: 12 hours
On-call coverage required
