Location: Morristown, NJ
Schedule: 10-hour shifts × 4 days/week

MUST-HAVE TAVR EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience scanning severe-to-critical aortic stenosis patients who are being evaluated for or will undergo TAVR.

This experience must be clearly documented on the resume and Submission Cover Sheet under "Previous Relevant Experience.”

Candidates without documented TAVR-related severe/critical aortic stenosis scanning experience will not be considered.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience performing Adult Echocardiography.
• Strong inpatient echocardiography experience.
• Minimum 200 documented inpatient echocardiography cases, supported by institutional referral.
• Strong proficiency in valvular assessment.
• Advanced spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
• Experience with contrast echocardiography.
• Experience performing agitated saline/bubble studies.
• Ability to work independently and recognize abnormal or critical findings.
• Ability to respond appropriately to critical findings in a timely manner.
• Experience working in a high-volume cardiac, structural heart, or valve center is strongly preferred.
• Epic hospital information system.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

• Graduate of a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.

Required Certifications

• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum 200 inpatient echocardiography cases, documented through institutional referral.
