Description

RN – Stepdown Neuro
Facility: Centra Lynchburg General Hospital
Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501
Start: 10/12/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 (approx. 7 PM–7 AM)
Specialty: Neuro Intermediate / Stepdown
Unit: B51 – Neuro ICU & Neuro Intermediate
Beds: 18
Patient Population: Adults with medical & surgical neuro diagnoses
Experience: 2 years RN , preferably Neuro
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Charting: Cerner/Oracle Health preferred
Float: Yes — travelers float first
Call: Based on unit needs
Weekends: Generally 2–3 weekends/month
Local Rule: 60-mile radius; locals not accepted
License: Compact or VA license in hand
COVID vaccine: Not required
Campus: Nicotine-free
