Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care

  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks

  • Start Date: November 30, 2026

  • End Date: February 27, 2027

  • Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

  • Work Week: Sunday – Saturday

  • Candidate Type: Local and travel nurses

  • Radius Rule: 75 miles

  • Local Candidates: Accepted at a reduced local rate

  • Floating: Required

  • On-Call: No

  • Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

  • Scrub Color: Navy blue

2. Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU nursing experience.

  • Previous travel nursing experience, documented on the resume.

  • Active New York RN license.

  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

  • Epic EMR experience.

  • Updated resume and specialty-matched skills checklist.

  • Driver's license with an address matching the candidate's demographic information.

  • Nursys license verification report covering the active New York RN license and all RN licenses.

  • Requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.

3. Unit Specifics

  • Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).

  • Total Beds: 64, including 15 designated neuro beds.

  • Patient Population: Adults aged 18 and older.
