Description
Schedule: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), No Call required
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekend: Every other weekend and holidays
Locals: Accepted at lower rate
Patient Age Group: Adults - Geriatrics
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
-
Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience
-
Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license, ACLS and BLS certs
-
RRT preferred; CRT candidates with 5 years of experience would be considered
-
Airway management, including extubation, intubation assistance, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
-
Experience with ARDS, aspiration, pneumonia, and fresh tracheostomies
-
Bronchoscopy support and sputum specimen collection
-
Ventilator management, including BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, alarm troubleshooting, and weaning
-
Chest physiotherapy, ABG collection, and interpretation
-
High-flow oxygen, oxygen-delivery systems, nebulizers, and aerosol treatments
Time-Off Policy:
-
Up to 2 pre-approved RTO requests per contract
-
No RTO for required winter/summer holidays or hard-to-fill holidays, including Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day
