Description

RN Outpatient Surgery

Location: Kingsport, TN 37660
Start Date: 11/15/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (6:00 Am–16:30 Pm)
Charting System: Epic

Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care in both General OR and Ambulatory Surgery settings, adapting seamlessly between complex inpatient surgeries and fast-paced outpatient procedures.
Function effectively in both circulating and scrubbing roles, ensuring sterile field maintenance and patient safety.
Provide continuous, expert cardiac monitoring for patients under local, regional, or general anesthesia.
Identify and interpret cardiac arrhythmias, monitor vital signs, and intervene immediately in collaboration with the anesthesia team during cardiac events.
Monitor patients closely for any signs of adverse transfusion reactions and initiate emergency protocols if necessary.

Requirements:
License: Active TN State or Compact RN License
Experience: 2 years of experience
Certifications: ACLS & BLS (Required) PALS (Preferred)
