Description
Position: Nurse Supervisor
Department: O.R. Surgery General Adult
Location: 506 Lenox Avenue, New York, NY 10037
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 3x12hrs
Start date: 11/09/2026
Weekly gross: $3600
Job Summary
Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance. Monitor patient care standards, assess clinical units in collaboration with nurse managers, and communicate and assist with corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain record-keeping systems to document medication errors and employee counseling.
Note: This is a temporary Associate Director-level position within Perioperative Services. A perioperative nursing background is mandatory.
Required Skills and Experience

Seven (7) years of professional experience.

At least five (5) years of supervisory experience.

Perioperative nursing experience is required.
Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing.
Required Certifications and Licensure

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
