Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP)
The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) provides Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) the opportunity to join St. Luke’s through a centralized hiring pool while completing a structured, standardized onboarding experience aligned with St. Luke’s ambulatory practice standards. Through clinic rotations in both Primary Care and Specialty Clinics, participants gain hands-on experience that supports thoughtful, well-matched placement into a permanent role.
Clinic assignments within Magic Valley will vary based on current business needs and individual preferences, including clinic location, specialty, and shift.
Current clinic rotation opportunities include:
Occupational Health – Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., based on clinic needs
Family Medicine – Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., based on clinic needs
Oncology – Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., based on clinic needs
What to expect from This Role:
Clinic rotations that provide firsthand exposure to a variety of Primary Care and Specialty Clinic settings, supporting informed placement decisions
Comprehensive, standardized LPN onboarding designed to support both new graduates and experienced LPNs
Opportunities to build clinical skills, confidence, and specialty experience in an ambulatory setting
Permanent placement opportunities across Primary Care and Specialty Clinics
Qualifications
Education
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Licensure & Certifications
-
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Practice (or in process for new graduates)
Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute
