 Patient Volume: Varies based on the day and ER activity; typically slower overnight
 Imaging Equipment:
o Philips Incisive CT
o Philips Spectral CT
o Philips C-90 X-ray
o GE X-ray portable
o OEC C-arms
 Additional Modalities: CT and X-ray (no additional modalities beyond this)
 Patient Population:
o Emergency Department
o Inpatient
o Outpatient and procedural cases
 Average Scans per Shift: Approximately 12–20 scans per technologist

Shift & Scheduling
 Shifts Covered: Primarily days and evenings
 Weekday coverage:
o > 2 techs during the day
o 2 technologists until 9:00 PM
 Weekend Coverage:
o 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM + an on call tech
o 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM: 2 technologists
 On-Call Requirements: None
 On-Call Room Availability: N/A

Clinical Scope
 Common Scan Types:
o Emergency, Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic imaging
 Contrast Studies:
o Yes – technologists are responsible for initiating and monitoring contrast exams as applicable

Certifications & Credentials
 Required Certifications:
o ARRT (R)(CT)
o BLS
 Licensure:
o New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
 Licensure Note: NY State radiology licensure typically has a 2–4 week
processing turnaround for out-of-state candidates
o New York State Injection License (IV contrast injection
cert/authorization)
